About the programme

Duration: one and a half hours
Maximum group size: 32 students. Minimum of one facilitator for every eight students.
Time slots: 09.30-11.00, 11.45-13.15, 14.00-15.30
Cost: €7.00 per pupil and supervisor
In the section on the former colonies, students get to know individuals who resisted Nazi Germany, but also Japan or the Dutch. They get a picture of the situation in the various Dutch colonies during and just after World War II, and how the process of decolonization still affects many people today. Part of the program takes place in the permanent display, highlighting the stories of resistance fighters from the colonies.
